Everything in North America is bigger and better and that applies tenfold to skiing resorts. With consistent snow, deep light powder snow, the envy of every European resort, with most resorts experiencing over 30 foot of snow every season, gives you the perfect excuse to choose Canada as your next ski destination. Ski areas offer a variety of well groomed terrain, long cruising runs, some over 10 km long or wide, high alpine bowls to ski in. The lift system in Canada is phenomenal, and queues are a rare sight in any Canadian resort.
Accommodations in Canada are comfortable, spacious and luxurious, and service in the hotels are second to none, the Canadians are huge on service and nothing is ever too much trouble. With friendly faces everywhere and genuine locals, there’s no way you wont “have a nice day”!!!
The scenery in The Canadians resorts are jaw droppingly beautiful, the Rockies in particular are incredible. Don’t be surprised to see an Elk or a Moose just meandering past as you traverse down the pine tree lined piste. And we guarantee you will marvel at the view as you sip a hot chocolate in the many mountain side cafés. It is just breathtaking, something everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime.
Whistler has amazing skiing, lying amongst the British Columbian mountains offering perfection in pistes and spectacular off piste opportunities. Skiers of all levels will enjoy a great variety of runs, some excellent tuition and Whistler is a traffic free village with a great variety of bars, clubs, restaurants and some lovely shops. Non ski activities are here in abundance too so this town has something for everyone.
Banff / Lake Louise not only has some spectacular sights, it is probably the largest ski resort in The Rockies. It offers incredible terrain over 3 main ski areas on one lift pass, and offers runs to suit every level and ability. Lake Louise is more suited to families and beginners, with quieter nursery slopes and Apres ski centred around a relaxing meal and drinks in the village, where as Banff is excellent for intermediate and advanced skiers or boarders looking for a lively night-life.
Other amazing resorts include Whistler, Tremblant and Jasper, not to mention Fernie and Panorama extending the list. All offering gentle runs for beginners, plenty ski to door accommodations and huge alpine bowls and off piste opportunities to rival anywhere else in the world.
Canada should be top of your list for a ski destination, it has fabulous accommodation, incredible snow, fabulous locals offering top notch service and scenery that will take your breath away. Try it....you will never go anywhere else again.....

Being such a large country, the climate varies depending onwhich area one visits. Canada also has very distinct seasons. Thewarmest months are July and August, and in winter (December,January and February) it is very cold with heavy snowfalls in mostprovinces. Autumn is a beautiful season with crisp air andbrilliant fall foliage, while in some areas spring brings theemergence of carpets of wild flowers.
