Intermediates have a huge choice of blues and reds, wide open slopes in the Kitzbueler Horn and the scenic tree lined runs on the Pass Thurn. The extensive lift system is second to none and encompasses the whole area of both mountains giving you an endless choice of where to go next.
The ultimate challenge for advanced is the “Strief” with its vertical drop which even ski racers fear, and the off piste is excellent and varied.
Boarders are in their element here, the wide cruisy runs, the 22 drag lifts and choice of two board parks and half pipes, makes Kitzbuhel a perfect choice for all.
The historic town of Kitzbuhel has something for everyone, with its cobbled streets, traditional buildings, makes it a beautiful place to stay. Inside the medieval walls there are unlimited shopping opportunities, numerous bars and cafés and restaurants, the evenings just come alive with many live music bars and discos coming into their own. For the non skiers there is sleigh rides, ice skating, tobogganing, swimming, horse riding, casino and a sports centre.
