Val D’isere combines skiing with neighbouring resort Tignes to form the fantastic Espace Killy ski area, this delivers excitement to skiers of all tastes and abilities. The skiing in Val D’isere covers La Daille, Val D’Isere centre and Fornet, and provides some of the best ski to door chalet accommodation available in Europe. There are chalets sleeping 6 people right through to those chalets sleeping 80, all offering varied standards and styles of room, as well as a friendly atmosphere and great locations.

This world famous “chic” resort is set high in the mountains of Savoie Alps, boasting an excellent snow record and a massive 300 kilometres of ski area. There is easy access to the lift system, many of which start in the village centre and are directly linked to the extensive Espace Killy ski area where there is some of the best skiing available in Europe, along with some spine chilling, exciting off piste opportunities.

Beginners are so well catered for here, there is wide sweeping greens and blues and even 5 free lifts for you to build up your confidence without the expense of buying a lift pass. Once you find your feet, there are some longer, slightly more challenging runs higher up in Bellevarde and Solaise, all easily accessible. Also an English speaking ski school and kindergarten for the little ones.

Intermediates are in paradise with over 66 blues and 35 reds to choose from. There are some exhilarating runs from Bellevarde down to La Daille, or cruise down the Iseran valley as far as Le Fornet. There’s also over 15 mountain restaurants for a coffee or lunch when its time to chill out.

Advanced skiing in Val D’Isere is so exciting with 18 black runs, and of course the famous Men’s Olympic downhill run and also offers some of the worlds unrivalled off piste opportunities, especially on The Fornet side.

The resort itself offers a mix of old and new, an mixture of hotels and chalets, and delivers a night-life to make any other resort envious.
